Music has been my lifelong passion. From a very early age I loved playing the drums, and have found it a great way for me to grow as a person as well as a  musician. Whether it’s Rock,Jazz, Fusion, Classical, Metal or Latin, music has held an influence over me for as long as I can remember. I began studying music more seriously during my high school years, and was privileged to study with Navy Band percussionist Bill Richards. I played in various colleges in Northern Virginia, participating in their Jazz band, percussion ensemble and symphonic bands. Then I had the great fortune of attending Berklee™ College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the most prestigious music schools in the nation. While at Berklee, I played all types of music with everyone from guitarists to horn players, and formed lifelong friendships. I was also able to take lessons from drum master Gary Chaffee, who really opened my mind with his unique approach to the drum set. My luck continued after graduation when I moved to Los Angeles and studied with top drummers, Chad Wackerman (who has played with Frank Zappa and Allan Holdsworth) and Dave Weckl (who has played with Chick Corea and Mike Stern). Both of these drummers are unmatched in their craft, and have greatly influenced the way I play. In addition to my well-rounded background of live performances and drumming instruction, I also have extensive recording experience. Currently I run my own home studio set up with Studio One.
